Question: I have been doing intense workouts 4x a week and eating a super low carb healthy diet. No change in 10 weeks??

Hi, I'm five two, and 150 lbs. I have been working out like a demon an average of 4x a week in the morning on an empty stomach AND I eat under 20 carbs a day (at least two cups of salad greens w/ vitamin suplements). I don't eat for an hour post workout. When I workout I alternate between upper and lower body with weights. I use the Body for Life program and log all my workouts AND I do 20 minutes of intense cardio. I have not lost so much as a centimeter around my waist or thights, the scale has not moved, my pants are not looser etc. I am getting stronger and my stomach and thighs are getting firm. I drink at least 10 glasses of water a day, take green tea supplements etc. Is it just me, or does this sound like an insane amount of work for little to no progress? Should I see a doctor...physiologically it just seems impossible that cal./carb intake is so LOW, workouts are so INTENSE and I haven't lost an ounce of weight? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Never ever go by the scale because muslce is heavier then fat!
low carb diet isnt always the best way as well, eatin 6 small meals a day is the best way to lose fat.
take out one of your workout days try and workout on
monday, wednesday and friday,
You also need to mix up your routines a bit choosing different excersises like.. say doing front squat instead of barbell squats
try eating breakfast at night just jumble things about. it will shock your body and u will grow.
it does seem do be a little odd that ur not changing. try keep a photographic log take it every month and u will notice changes
take down body measurements every month as well
also review ur whole program are u sure ur following it 100 percent becuase even 1 slip up a day is enough to knock u back. treat ur self to a cheat meal ( unhealthy meal ) or ur favourite meal once a week, preferably sunday. hope that helps
