White Tea And Caffeine

Question: Allergic to tea?
I drink plenty of coffee, so it's not the caffeine; I don't get hives PER SE, but every once in a while I decide to start drinking tea because it's healthy for you---but every single time, i get sick and give myself a horrid sore throat a few days after having a daily cup of tea. What the freak? Tea is supposed to be so good for you--why would I react like this??? Does anyone else get sick with tea???
Extra details: I drink my tea with a tiny 1/2 t. sugar in it and no milk. I have had the same reaction whether it's black tea, black-orange pekoe, green or white. I don't have caffeine sensitivity because I drink coffee daily with no adverse effect.
?????
Answer: Although the majority of allergies are caused by about ten chemicals, there are literally thousands of documented allergic reactions.
If your body tells you it doesn't like it, ignore the "experts" who says its good for you. Everyone is different, and just because something is good/bad for the majority doesn't mean its good or bad for you.
