Question: Taste of matcha powder (green tea) in baking?

I am a green tea enthusiast and have been reading many matcha powder (green tea powder) recipes. I have never used it in baking, so I would like to know how it tastes in cupcakes, ice creams, cakes, etc? For example, does it have a bittersweet taste when added to cupcakes?

I would also like to know if anyone has tried baking with matcha powder and how it turned out? What brand did you use?

Answer: Some people do not like using green tea when baking, because it can add a bitter taste. When used in moderation, however, matcha powder adds a lovely sweet flavor in its subtleness.
