Question: How do I lose the baby "pouch"?
My baby will be 8 weeks old tomorrow & last week I was given the OK to go back to normal life & the OK to exercise. I Have been eating less, not eating out as much, drinking lots of water, & I got a membership @ a gym & have been going 4 times a week. I am also taking Mega T Green Tea Tablets/packets. I chose not to nurse my daughter (long story, choose not to explain it)
So how can I lose my baby pouch? Are there any supplements anyone has tried that helped along with dieting & exercise? Any specific machine I should be doing in the gym? I have been doing to bike, elliptical, treadmill, & all the machines along with crunches & leg lifts. So far I dont see any results, but it has only been a little over a week..
PLEASE HELP I need to get rid of this pouch so my fiance can once again be attracted to me & I can feel good about myself again.

Answer: jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

Big K Diet Green Tea

Question: Will this be effective in loosing weight?
I'am 5''6 175-180lbs . I am muscular looking but, my stomach area is big; I have a lot of fat near my hips(love handles) I decided to diet and I wanted to ask if the way I am going to be doing this will be effective. I bought Green Tea Extract Pills to help curb my appetite and stimulate my metabolism. The main thing Is I started working out more and eating right. So I will describe my day to see if iam doing this correct. When I wake up I have 1 packet of weight control oatmeal or a special K bliss cereal bar which are 90 calories per bar. I then take the green tea supplement. lunch-salad with vegies with some ham and turkey cubes. After class will be my workout- today, intense basketball for over an hour . while other days I will do long distance running. For dinner-1 1/2 pieces of baked chicken with no skin. Bowl of veggie soup, half of glass of skim, and a small bowl of peaches. Its really hard bc iam on a college campus and theres a lot of temptations at our cafe. thanks
Answer: I don't think you're getting enough calories from what you've listed here. If you drop your calorie intake too low you're body will slip into starvation mode and you won't lose an ounce no matter what you do. Write down everything you eat with calorie content. This will give you an overall look at where you need to make changes. Lotsa fruit and salads but watch the dressings they can sneak up on you. Drop your calorie intake to around 1400 a day ( NO LOWER) and sweat for 30 to 60 minutes a day 7 days a week. Try like hell to avoid the temptations around you but don't beat yourself up if you slip once in a while. Just brush yourself off and get back on track the next day. Remember, the more you slip, the longer it will take to reach your goal so keep a healthy mindset...good luck!
