Question: Lose weight without exercise?
Okay I H A T E E X E R C I S E but I really need to lose like twenty pounds in a month, No diet pills or starvation either please.
I have been eating healthy the past few weeks, but only lost like three pounds.
my current eating plan is this--->
wake up at 6am drink tea with lemon in it (its supposed to "jump start" your metabolism)
then I go to school, the next time I eat is lunch, which is whatever the school is serving
usually a burger with potatoes, fruit and a salad
then I get home and am super hungry, sometimes I will stay heathy and eat veggies, or some days I will junk out and eat chips or a twinkie, then for dinner I will have whatever my mom makes, (Chinese, pasta, soup, BBQ, chiken wrap ect...) with veggies or fruit nd salad
then I'll have peach green tea again at night.
Please help fix my diet....and please no exercise or workouts Y_Y
thanks n advance-
Answer: For a very long time, certainly exceeding one thousand years, the people in Asia have been drinking green tea for pleasure and health. Though still relatively new in the West, a lot of health conscious people have known about green tea for years. Also, a number of studies have clearly shown that green tea can provide relief and/or support for certain disease states. You can avail youreself of the healthy benefits of this plant by drinking as a tea, which is the usual method, or some people just like taking the capsule. What's next is some information about several of the major positive contributions green tea can make in your life.
Believe it or not, but green tea has stimulant properties that are not as harsh as found in coffee and the popular high energy quick fixes being sold, today. If you would like a stimulant drink that won't make you nervous or jittery, then green tea is an excellent choice. This substance is known to increase the metabolism, and it is very good with those who want to lose weight. Green tea does contain caffeine, but it's about 50% of the caffeine in coffee. Some of the energy drinks on the market are so high in caffeine that it causes unpleasant side effects for some people. Green tea gives you the benefits of a stimulant without making you nervous or keeping you awake all night.
There have also been encouraging results from studies of green tea and certain kinds of cancer. It has many beneficial antioxidants, including the substances known as polyphenols, which protect the cells of your body from environmental toxins and also have anti-cancer properties. There was a particular research study conducted in China that showed positive results for a decreased risk for cancer of the esophagus with regular intake of green tea. Other types of cancer that may be helped by green tea include lung and stomach. Try to take a proactive approach by changing unhealthy lifestyle habits and just living as healthy as you can.
You can do your liver a favor with the detoxification properties within green tea. Green tea has a powerful type of antioxidant called catechins which support the immune system and lessen the damage done by free radicals, which are the causes of many diseases. The overall benefit is your liver is supported in its function of keeping the house clean, so to speak, and there's nothing but good about that. You can take capsules every day, of course, but it's important to take-in the equivalent of three to four cups of green tea every day.
It is likely that as more research is done on green tea, even more benefits will be found. We can safely say that it is a nutritious and healthy beverage or supplement for many different reasons, including to the ones discussed above. Do try to eat healthy as much as possible, and if you can squeeze in some exercise, then that will be just great. Nothing wrong with starting slow with a cup or tea and then developing that in a powerhouse effort.
The benefits of green tea are enormous and powerful, and who knows what else will become known about it. This food is flexible because you can take it as capsule, other food alternatives, and of course drink the tea. If you take it regularly, you will enjoy more of the benefits.
