Question: Can you take Green Tea Extract Pills and womens one a day pills ?

i was taking womens one a day pills and then i ordered some Green Tea Extract Pills also so i was wondering can i take these 2 vitamins on the same day?

Answer: Maybe probably, but ask a doctor. A lot depends on how concentrated the extracts in the green tea pills are. And what they're extracting: green tea has a ton of different good chemicals in it, and the pills usually focus on one or two.

Green tea can have interactions with drugs, from lithium to beta-blockers. There's a list at the University of Maryland link below.

That said, there's also some new research that makes me question how good green tea pills are at all. I prefer loose-leaf teas for a lot of reasons: extracts' link to potential organ damage linked below is just another one. Everything in moderation...
