Green Tea And Apple Cider Diet
Question: Is this a good weight loss diet?
I posted this before and didn;t get any answers!
So, would this be a good weight loss diet? I am trying to drop 10 lbs by mid-June.
Breakfast: 3 egg whites scrambled with non-stick cooking spray, 1 cup greens tossed with apple cider vinegar
Lunch: 3 oz grilled skinless chicken breast, 1 cup greens tossed with apple cider vinegar
Dinner: 3 oz grilled lean fish, 1 cup low-glycemic veggies cooked with 1 spritz non-fat cooking spray
Snack: 1 scoop plain whey protein powder with 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
FYI- I already go to the gym several times a week, and I do not consume refined carbs, dairy, or sugars of any type. I only drink black coffee, unsweetened green tea, or water, no sodas or anything.

Answer: You might consider adding some whole grain breads and some legumes to that diet. The fiber is very important.
It's great you avoid refined carbs, but you do need carbs such as those present in whole grain breads.
Also, don't cut out so much fat, your body needs fat as well, just not in the huge quantities many people ingest. You should have between 35 and 50 grams of fat per day. At least try to hit the 35.
make sure you eat some fresh fruits as well. While they contain sugars, they are natural sugars and your body processes them differently from refined sugars, and you need the enzymes and nutrients that fruits provide. Many fruits are storehouses of wonderful nutrients. Do some research and look to see what there is out there.

Good luck, sounds like you are on the right track, you just need to modify a little and educate yourself. Make sure you are getting enough calories each day! NOT enough calories can slow your weight loss, so it's pretty important.
