many purposes. Green tea is great as a beverage and also as an
herbal medicine. The use of green tea for medicinal
purposes spread and was recently recognized in the medical
profession in the West.
There have been many researches on green
tea, the effects of green tea, green tea and losing weight and
particularly on the antioxidant and chemotherapeutic effects of
green tea. The most recent research conducted in Switzerland
and the US reveal that there may be a strong correlation
between green tea and losing weight. Hence, green tea and
losing weight have been referred together by many sources.
Evidence of correlation between green tea and losing
weight
The December 1999 issue of the American
Journal of Clinical Nutrition and Urology published a study
that revealed that green tea contained some chemical compounds
that assisted the weight loss process. A research into green
tea and weight loss was led by Dr. Abdul Dulloo at the
University of Geneva on a group of 10 healthy young men with
different weight problems, from too thin to too fat.
